In response to two very tragic deaths of community members, I introduced AB 344, revising the definition of criminal assault, and AB 377, which added that violators of temporary protective orders may be held in jail for up to 12 hours upon the discretion of an arresting officer.
When Carson City’s “soup lady” was told that she could no longer make soup for local cancer patients, I amended a bill to allow that persons making and serving food in certain situations, could do so without a permit from the City Health Department.
